Incorrect Prices?

While checking positions I noticed I loaded up on:
2015-01-08
SAN
$0.16 116355
$19,082.22 ($3,490.65)

but after googling this I found this security to be ~7.00$ My algo also reports a huge 77% upswing after purchasing this. Any idea what is going on?

Banco Santander S.A. (SAN) dropped from under $8 to under $7 on one of the first days of January. See https://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=SAN, click "Historical prices".

Right but it shows that I picked it up for 16 cents a share.

Yahoo does not show intraday prices. If somebody sold you SAN for 16¢ a share, deliberately or by mistake, good for you :-) . (But if your price is lower than the reported day's low, there's obviously an error.)

The low price reported at https://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=SAN&a=00&b=5&c=1988&d=00&e=15&f=2015&g=d for Jan. 8 is $7.34 per share. Notice also that dividends were paid the next day - there may be a bug in the code that calculates the dividend adjustment.

The historical data for SAN looks incorrect for that period. We were aware of it and are working to fix it from the vendor. In the meantime, I'd recommend not to use the ticker in your algo for backtesting. We'll let you know once this is fixed!
