1) On what platform will the algorithms be implemented?
2) Can the author invest in his own algos?
3) Can someone else other than quantopian invest in algos?
4) Can I see the performance of other algos ?
5) Can I invest in other people's algos?

  1. I believe that algos can currently trade on Robinhood and IB through quantopian
  2. Once you write an algo you can papertrade through quantopian or go to live trade
  3. Not sure what you are asking, quantopian I would call a subsection of algo trading which expands past this site
  4. Members can post their algos with backtests that can be copied and backtested to your liking, but they have to be openly posted
  5. Some members publicly post their algos for questions or help for improvement which you can copy and use, but they are not responsible for any losses from their algo that they posted. If you are unsure then you can directly ask too.
