I don't know any python, how Quantopian works, and I have a very basic knowledge of the financial markets

but it's fun to put random things in and watch it explode with results!

I mean sure, the algorithm lost a few millions at times, but let's just pretend we have a lot of money

just a quick question, what the heck does "order(sid(24), 50)" do anyways?

You're ordering 50 shares of AAPL every minute of every trading day. Better hope that new iPad does well...

Track the leverage, I bet that your algo is highly leveraged :) The broker wouldn't allow it unfortunately. Take a look at the sample algos to learn the syntax: https://www.quantopian.com/help#sample-algos

And while you're there check out the API help documentation to learn about the different functions. If you want other tutorials, here are some resources.
