I di a longer dated test and this algo doesn't seem to work all that well.

In fact, the opposite 'fade' would make a fortune over the long-term.

Thanks for the share. Infinite shorting can be fun! But sadly it doesn't actually work. Someday maybe ;)

Are there some algos on here that have been proven to work decently in live market conditions? and if so, how do we get to view them? I am a new member.

Most algorithms on Quantopian are private - tens of thousands of them! The only algorithms you see here in the forums are the ones people have chosen to share.

One of the things we'd like to do as a site is to help people to build a trading track record that they can use on a resume or whatever. We don't yet offer that, though. So "proven to work in the live market" - I don't think there is anything that can be "proven" in that regard.

I think if you read the forums for a while, you'll find some very interesting ideas.
