Hey everybody,
I'm new to Quantopian and eager to learn more.
I would like to know if it is possible to make an algorithm that buys when the stock price is higher than the opening price and sells or switches position when it goes below opening price. Also how can I import stocks with price below 10$?
I know these questions may be answered somewhere in tutorials but I didn't really get much of it.
Thanks for everybody who can help me some way.
How to make algorithm based on opening price
By default, all orders in backtesting are executed based on the close price. If you'd like to trade at the open price, here's a workaround that was shared: https://www.quantopian.com/posts/trade-at-the-open-slippage-model
