How to get current data's datetime using Quantopian 2 API

In Quantopian 1, I use:

data[sid].datetime

to get the current data's datetime.

How to get the same data using the Quantopian 2 API?

Hi Kelvin, you can use the get_datetime method. Read more here.

get_datetime() method only gets the current datetime.
data[sid].datetime will return the datetime of the latest data. I think they are not the same. Sometimes I even compare these 2 values to see if the security is suspended. Anyway, I really want to get the datetime of the latest data. Not get_datetime()

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. You want to use last_traded.

For example, data.current(sid(24), "last_traded") gets you the last traded time for Apple (you can pass in a list of assets as well). You can also use data.is_stale, which lets you know if the given asset traded in the current bar.

Hope that helps.

Thanks! That's what I'm looking for.
