Hi,
I am new to the pipeline API, and I am wondering if there is a way to choose index component stocks, such as Russell 2000 index. How to 'pipe' those stocks to my base universe?
Thanks!

Think ranking stocks by market cap and then using a filter with market cap rank less than 999 and more than 3001 would return stocks ranked 1000-3000 by market cap, which should be similar to the Russell 2k index. Not sure if there's a built-in screen for this.
Hi Eric,
Thanks for your solution. Yeah, it will work for the Russell 2k index. Like you said I was wondering if there is a built-in screen for this type of work, so that it will also work for Dow Jones 30, Nasdaq, etc.
We don't have a data source that provides those specific indices. They are actually incredibly expensive to buy - Dow Jones, S&P, Russel, etc. make a boatload of money charging to use the constituents.
We provide some smart alternatives that are better for quant trading purposes. Check out the Q500US, Q1500US, and Q3000US. To understand more about how and why those stocks were chosen, see the universe selection lecture.
