Help with Time - <Solved>

I am a new to both Quantopian and Python and am having a problem with simple time. It seems that time is coming up one exactly one hour earlier than what I want. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,

Try using the built-int schedule_function() method instead. I've attached a backtest that I believe has the functionality you want using schedule_function().

Let me know if this helps!

James,

Thank you.

Hmmmm. I am getting the same result, one hour earlier. (9:30 and 2:30 instead of 10:30 and 3:30) When you run your backtest, what times do you get? Dumb question - Would my physical location and or timezone affect the results?

Dan

That time is based on your computer's timezone. I suspect if you adjust the settings to EST you'll see the expected results in your browser.

Alosa,

It's official. I'm an idiot!

Thanks so much.

Dan

No problem, it's not intuitive :). Good luck!
