Help with Basics Strategies

I am a beginner in both python programming, and developing algorithms. Could someone more experienced than me please explain how to improve and build on programs, such as the kind of strategies you could use in these programs, and how strategies might differ between two stocks.

Thank You.

Hi Ravi,

To get an idea about what Quants do, you could read "Inside The Black Box" by Rishi Narang.
There are free python books like "Think Python: How to Think Like a Computer Scientist" on the internet.

For the rest, ask many questions, here or elsewhere (StackExchange).

Good luck,
Sjoerd

Thank you.

I hope this helps you. I can recommend both books if you are willing to invest time to understand what you are doing. To get a quick start, you can play with the sample algorithms, duplicate others algorithms and ask questions about it.
