I'm a newcomer to Quantopian with an interest in machine learning and genetic algorithms, and I was just wondering if anyone has advice for implementing genetic algorithms and/or neural networks on Quantopian. I am particularly interested in trying to use the symbiotic adaptive neural evolution (SANE) algorithm to train price forecasting networks. Does Quantopian research offer enough computing power to run a genetic algorithm with a large population size for many generations in a practical amount of time? Many thanks in advance for any advice you can offer!
