This is a question for the Quantopian team regarding the project direction: Are there plans to expand the products available in the future? Is there ideally going to be eventual functionality for live trading options?

Yes, our goal is to increase the tradeable assets on the platform. We want to give you the maximum number of tools (data sources, assets, API functionality) to build algorithms on the platform and have uncorrelated strategies available for our hedge fund. I'm not sure when derivatives will be available, but this is part of our general direction.
