I wanted to make use of a variable that would indicate exactly where within the year the current trading day is.
0 = Jan, 1
1 = Dec, 31
is there already a function for this? Or do I need to cobble something together using self.get_datetime()
You can use zipline.utils.get_trading_days with a little cleverness to accomplish this. See attached backtest.
