fetch_csv() outside of init method

I see in the documentation "To use it, use fetch_csv(url) in your initialize method". Can we use fetch_csv() outside of the init? I'd like to fetch a csv every day as part of my schedule_function(). Is this possible?

Hi Milap,

What type of data are you trying to access via csv? Is it "reduced" (ie. no more than one row of data per asset per day)?

We are looking for alpha testers on the My Data feature. My Data will allow you to access your symbol mapped csv data directly via pipeline. It even takes care of the point-in-time capture if you are doing live updates.

If your data is reduced, we'd love to have you in our alpha pilot, you can sign up here

Hm. Well no, it's actually it's about 3000 rows, I can look into finding data that's only the most recent though.

This is what I'm looking at: https://www.quandl.com/api/v1/datasets/CHRIS/CBOE_VX2.csv

Hey Chris, I figured it out!

I can get single row data by using the following api:
https://www.quandl.com/api/v1/datasets/CHRIS/CBOE_VX2.csv?api_key=(apikey)&column_index=4&rows=1&order=dec

I would love to be a part of the alpha.
