I keep getting this message...

Something went wrong on our end and we've been notified about it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

With no other information. Is there something I can do on my end? Or could more about what went wrong be published?

I have seen this message also. In all cases I traced it to the set_universe. You could try to change the dates (by at least 1 quarter) or put the stocks in manually to test this possibility. What dates are you using when you see this message?

Pumlerod, are you still experiencing an error? I cloned your algo and was able to build it successfully (albeit it took a while because of the intensive computations)

I have not tried running again yet after the first few fails. Perhaps a silly question, but when I kick off a backtest where is it being processed? On my local machine or on your network? Just wondering if I need to be logged in for the duration of the backtest or if I can close up the laptop and be on the go.

Everything runs in the cloud, not on your local machine. So you're welcome to close your browser, shutdown your laptop and leave. The backtest will continue to run. It'll be ready when you come back!
