Hi
I have been trying to set my pipeline screen to the top-250 market cap equities.
When running the pipeline, I noticed that only about 160 assets are passed.
Any explanation? Is the above python statement wrong?

Everything looks fine with the code. The reason you are getting less than 250 is that many stocks, and even quite large stocks, are not included in the QTU for various reasons. A few examples.
SAP, BUD, BABA are all big companies but excluded because they are ADRs
GOOG_L, BRK_A, GS_PRK are again all big companies but they have multiple share classes and these are not the primary share class.
There are a few other reasons some stocks are excluded but these are the two big ones. Take a look here for the definition of the QTU.
To get the top 250 stocks by market cap which are in QTradableStocksUS do something like this
qtu_top_250 = MarketCap().top(250, mask=QTradableStocksUS())
Using the mask
parameter will first filter the top
method to only those stocks in the QTU.
Attached is a notebook showing how many stocks this impacts.
