Hello,
Has anyone attempted to develop a strategy based on Dow Theory? I did a search on the posts here on Quantopian and couldn't find anything.
Can someone perhaps take an initial attempt to setting this up?

Read the article you linked. Its a bit old, so I would take that into account , along with the idea that Dow theory is more of a guideline set up.A wise one, but pretty much any major trend following system is going to contain elements of this dow theory. Any setup that trades infrequently, enters at highs and attempts to capture the trend is Dow theory at a basic level. The major idea to take away, I think, is that Dow theory attempts to distance itself from short term noise and excessive speculation...Hope that helps clear things up
