I recently have heard of Quantopian and found it interesting. I am planning to connect some simple algorithm to IB account for real live trading. I wonder if there is any hidden/unhidden charge from Quatopian for such a live trading platform? Thanks.
Nothing at all, except you want to buy some optional data sources.
I am live-trading with IB and paper-trading with Quantopian, and I never payed a dollar. I also ran thousands of backtests, and I not even wrote my credit card numbers. Relax and enjoy the platform. After using it a while, you'll realize it has a very good design, and believe it or not, it is free for us.
In my personal opinion, one of the few things that really worth to pay for. You also have minute-bar quotes!
