DeMark Indicators: Anyone Using These Or Interested In Them?

Is anyone interested in these? I'm thinking of working through Jason Perl's book and implementing in Quantopian. Bloomberg have these as do some other platforms.

Idly surfing (http://www.marketstudies.com/cm/content/Bloomberg.asp) reveals that the DeMark indicators are $500 per month on top of the (approx.) $2,000 per month you would be paying for a single Bloomberg terminal.

And if you had a subscribed base of 315,000 terminals discounted to $20k pa on average....nice.

Attached is a play at seeing how many Buy and Sell signals you might get a year with the (approx.) constituents of the NASDAQ 100.

Peter, have you tried a test on selling or buying the shares as well? Regards Jonas

Hello Jonas,

No. There's quite a lot in Perl's book with the first chapter being on the TD Sequential indicator. The setups I am testing for are just the start of that one indicator and are not usually traded in isolation as I understand it. I just wanted to get a feel for how many trade setups there might be each day.

I'm waiting for the hardback book to arrive as I don't like reading the PDF I found on the web for long periods.
