Data showing company slashed earning forecast?

Is there any data that can be used to detect when a company decreases their earning forecast? So I could detect something like this: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-tempurpedic-outlook/tempur-pedic-growth-hits-wall-shares-crash-idUSBRE8550YI20120606

Is there a way to detect this? Not that they missed their forecast (we can detect that with earnings surprise https://www.quantopian.com/posts/3-earnings-example-strategies-based-on-the-quantpedia-trading-strategy-series), but that they lowered their forecast (and therefore THAT is the surprise, and doesn't show up in the traditional earnings surprise data - at least not that I can find).
