US equity data is currently not available in backtest for the day prior (Sep 30 on Oct 1). It apparently works in Notebook but not the backtester. Is there a special glitch today that is causing this or is data frequently unavailable in the backtester on the day following? Are there some Quantopian backtest servers that are more likely to have this data and if so, is it possible to direct my application to them, or is every backtest server dark for yesterday's data?
Factset data was delayed today because of a technical issue and is just now getting cleaned up.
In the notebook environment, non-Factset data was current but Factset data was 'stale' because of this delay. Notebooks simply display the most current data they have available. The behavior in backtesting is different. We wait until all data is available to allow any backtesting for a given day. This is to avoid issues with being 'out of synch' having some data but not others.
Sorry for the issue. Backtests should be updating soon. A browser page refresh will need to be done to see the updated calendar in the IDE.
