Corporate Actions and Price Adjustment Video Series Out Now

A trading strategy will be impacted by more than just changes in stock prices. Dividends and corporate actions will also affect the securities that your strategy invests in, so it is good to consider such actions and the impact that they have had over the companies in your trading universe when conducting research to develop your strategy. Our new series, “Corporate Actions and Price Adjustments” covers how different types of corporate actions could affect your strategy, why price adjustments can help avoid potential issues, and how our site handles the price adjustments behind the scenes.

All three videos in the series are available now.

The first video in the series, “Dividends and Payment Dates”, gives an overview of some basic corporate actions, including dividends and the important dates associated with them. You can watch the first video here, or on youtube.
