Contract Awards

Was wondering if anyone has experimented with the contract award data.
I subscribe to several news feeds/services and have noticed a good handful times per year some stocks popping on those awards.
Does that data include sole-sourced contracts & does it include the "Notice of Intent" to sole source which comes before the contract award?

I am an old school trader/investor with no programming experience but trying to learn python.
Wondering if it would be worth the effort and if algo trading is dead for an individual?
Does anyone have any suggestions (Online class etc) on where I could lower the learning curve?
Any input much appreciated!

Hi Rodney,

I didn't have much python or programming experience either when I started and I'm still learning. I took a few python courses on Udemy, but there's lots of free intro to python courses on Youtube for free. Also check out the Lecture series here on Python, Numpy, and Pandas, as well as the Sentex tutorial (and the other tutorials) on this site. Good luck!
