contest entry error - Request for risk model data ending with 2018-01-17 could not be processed?

Seeking Help Contest Risk Model

Any idea why this happened:

Something went wrong and your live algorithm has stopped. Once you
resolve the problem in the source algorithm, redeploy it to continue
live trading. Something went wrong on our end. Sorry for the
inconvenience. Please email us so we can help. ValueError: Request for
risk model data ending with 2018-01-17 could not be processed. Data is
available up to 2018-01-12. There was a runtime error on line 59.

The confusing thing is that the algo ran yesterday, but then today failed. Too risky to use the risk model!

Any feedback on this? I'd like to re-enter, but I'm not clear if the risk model is ready for prime time, or if I should take it out?

Note to Q team: I suggest changing the error message to indicate that the risk model is not compatible with live trading. Or better yet, simply block live trading for algos that use it, displaying the error when one attempts to launch the live algo.

I got the same error in Quantopian's sample algorithm today. How does Quantopian benefit from recommending code that doesn't work?
