Code to be executed at end

It would be nice if it was possible to have a piece of code that is executed after the last time step is processed (i.e. just before exiting the backtest). Just like initialize() runs just before the backtest starts. Why would you want to do this? For many reasons, but in my case I want to do a calculation at the end and then print the results. This is possible to do at the moment, but somewhat tricky and definitely cumbersome. For example, see https://www.quantopian.com/posts/print-run-summary.

Hi Gili,

Thanks for the feature suggestion, we appreciate getting the feedback! Gary had suggested a similar use case in his print run summary and I'll add your comments to the request. Keep the ideas coming and you can email us at anytime, [email protected]

Cheers,
Alisa
