I apologize for the issues, these seem to be isolated incidents so I suspect it's a strange bug relating to specific browser setup or addons. Have you tried other browsers? I believe one of our engineers might have been able to solve this issue the last time, I've let him know and hopefully he'll be able to let you know what worked previously.

I have the same problem, I tried at safari and chrome,
also tried at incognito mode.
I left ticket at customer care
Hi there, I am the original poster of this thread. I have since used Opera and has since been able to access the lecture series without problems, so it was a browser specific issue indeed. Hope this helps !
Hello,
I'm sorry the lectures are still giving you issues, Volodymyr. We'll take a look at the ticket ASAP. We are also aware of an issue affecting some lectures today in which users receive a 403 error when trying to access. We are working on fixing that now. Another solution that has worked for some users is to enable 3rd party cookies, which are necessary to view the notebooks successfully in browser.
Hopefully this all gets worked out soon.

Same problem here using Chrome 58 in Win10. On my linux machine I can use Chrome without any difficulty - not sure what the problem is.
Max
OP I have the same problem using; Win7 Chrome 58.0.3029.96 (64-bit). Notebooks do open correctly with IE (11.0.9600.18638IC)
Rather than allow 3rd party cookies wholesale, you can just allow the domain that quantopian is talking to. For Chrome you can go to Settings->Advanced->Content Settings->Cookies and add the following into the "Allow" section: "[*.]dynoquant.com". This will whitelist 3rd party cookies only from the dynoquant.com domain.
Thanks @Mark Olton. That did it. And yes, selectively enabling 3rd party cookies for this domain alone feels like a better solution.
@Mark Olton
No it still not working but thanks.
my chrome fails with this

I found the problem.
Quantopian does not work ads blockers (e.g. Ghostery).
Some blacklisted tracking cookies are loaded.
This is kind of confusing. Why is Quantopian doing this?
It's kind of pointless to run tracking cookies if you are not in the Ads business. Second, where is my GDPR warning? I kind of don't care but someone should tell Quantopian that they are taking an unnecessary legal risk when using tracking cookies without GDPR-ish consent.
Hi Ulf et al,
The cookies that are required for our research environment to work are not third-party tracking cookies, they are specific to our platform and data about them is not shared with anyone outside of Quantopian.
The "dynoquant.com" domain, whose cookies are blocked by some add-ons, is owned and controlled by Quantopian. We run the research notebook infrastructure on this separate domain for security reasons. The cookies which are being blocked are the session cookies required for research notebooks to work.
We know that the user experience when these cookies are blocked is sub-optimal. We have a fix in the works to detect this problem and display a more useful message notifying you that you need to enable third-party cookies. We have also looked into technical solutions to eliminate the need for these cookies, but so far we have been unable to find one which satisfies our security requirements. Unfortunately, sometimes, as in this case, competing security requirements butt heads against each other.
Regarding GDPR, our terms of use and privacy policy mention that we use cookies. Consenting to our terms of use and privacy policy is required in order to create a Quantopian account. Furthermore, we are in the process of preparing revisions to both documents. When we roll out the revisions, all community members will be asked to consent to the new versions before continuing to use the platform.
We are serious about our obligation to protect our members' privacy and adhere to the requirements of the GDPR and other jurisdictions' privacy laws and regulations. If you have any additional concerns, feel free to reach out to us directly or comment here.
Also, if the workarounds mentioned above for fixing this problem don't work for you, please reach out directly to our support team so we can help.
Regards,
Jonathan Kamens
