So I learned you can maximize the code window but is there a way to do this with the log window? Doesn't seem like I can drag all the way to the left.

Thanks, Alisa. Sorry I should have been more descriptive... some of my log output lines are long and it's helpful to see them all on 1 line. I'm looking to expand the window to fit the width of the screen rather than the height.
Ah, then you can drag the middle sidebar to the left to create more width for the logs:

Yea that's what I've been doing, it's just a bit cumbersome to fiddle with column width whenever I want to quickly switch between the code window and the logs. Perhaps I could make a feature request? =) Would be awesome in a future version to have a button that quickly switches the IDE between full-screen code and full-screen log windows.

@Joe C., Here's some javascript you can play with to get what you want...
javascript:x=window.open(); x.document.write(document.getElementsByClassName("logs-container")[0].innerHTML.replace(/(?:\r\n|\r|\n)/g, '<br />'));x.document.close(); Put this into a bookmarklet and name it something useful "ShowQLog" perhaps.
If one doesn't know how to make a bookmarklet, just drag any site's icon from your browsers address bar to your bookmarks toolbar. Then right click and edit. Rename it and then place the above javascript, as one line, into the URL area. Save.
Then run your backtest, and click this new bookmarklet at will.
