Can one revert to an algorithm version? Source code history tracking?

Hi All,

As I've tweaked code of an algo and re-backtested it, the code itself has undergone changes. I see that backtests results are all stored - is there a snapshot of the associated source code? I'd like to revert some changes, but can't seem to figure out how. Is it possible to revert back within the Quantopian IDE? Or, is the expectation that one copy his code to another desktop IDE and store it in a version control system outside of Quantopian?

Code for full backtests should be there ...

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the great questions. Version control, revision tracking, and similar features are very highly requested and while we can't make specific promises, they're very high on our queue. Hopefully we'll have something to share on this topic in the next few months.

thanks,
Jean

Any updates on this? Integrated GIT (even if it is not hosted by Quantopian) would be super duper awesome.

Any update of version history? or should we just use git? (copy paste)
