If I am worried that my algorithm running in the contest is at risk of a bug , can I update the code? And if so, how ?
Simon's advice is spot on. Once an algorithm is live (paper trading on Quantopian or trading with the broker) the code cannot be edited. The algo needs to be stopped, tweaked, and then re-deployed. Or in this case, re-submitted to the contest.
