Hello,
I am a newbie to Quantopian and still exploring the API. I wanted to know if Quantopian provides a way by which a callback/event is fired when a Limit Order that was placed is executed ?
Thanks,

Hello Sushil - Welcome to Quantopian!
I'm attaching a little algorithm that uses a limit order and shows you how to tell if the limit order was filled. Basically, you record the order_id when you place the order, and then you keep checking every minute to see if the order is filled (and how much it is filled).
If you're looking for a callback/event that fires out of Quantopian to an external service, then you're out of luck - that's not something that we support.
Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I am already using the order id to track the status of the limit order. I was wondering if there is a way that handle_data can be called every 20 seconds (instead of once every minute ?)
Our highest frequency is minutely.
Note that when you're trading real money, the order goes to the market immediately when you place it; there is no forced delay for your order to be placed. However, your algorithm won't "know" that that the order is filled until the next cycle starts one minute later.
