Welcome to Quantopian! I'm glad to see you've started experimenting with the backtester and are achieving a nice return on this algo. If you ever want comments on a particular algorithm or idea, posting in the community is a great idea.
Specifically for this algorithm, I would be aware of the fact that your big spike at the end of the simulation may not be something that is likely to recur in a live sample. As well, if you would like to enter the contest, you will need to have a hedged strategy, which would involve being long in some positions and short in others simultaneously. Otherwise, it looks like you're off to a great start!
