@Brian, you guessed right - but the benchmark isn't even implemented as an algorithm, it is simply returns for a large cap US market index. We've talked about allowing members to do benchmarking against any security they choose, including the many ETFs we have in the data. But, benchmarking against a running algorithm is a new idea - really pretty interesting. Maybe if you clone an algo, we should benchmark you versus that algorithm?
It would inject a little friendly competition into cloning :).
