Beginner tutorial video series

First time posting! I am quite new to algorithmic trading, but not new to algorithms in general. I've been reading the usual books and am really enjoying what I'm reading. I would really enjoy algorithmic trading and I will continue to read up on it (btw, if others have great resource/reference suggestions, please let me know).

I want to propose a project to the community that I think might be useful for new folks like myself. I would love to see someone put together a video or series of videos going through the entire chain of starting a retail trading system.

Most books seem to break it down in a similar manner, but I would love to see someone go through each one of those steps with a concrete example. For example, a series of videos could look like

1) Determining asset class to trade and strategy (the author could then pick US equities and stick with perhaps a trend following strategy of their choice)

2) Picking the machine, installing the necessary software for the strategy, and building the infrastructure

3) Showing the backtesting (obtaining, cleaning data, checking data for biases, back testing the strategy and showing the performance metrics)

4) Detailing the risk management and transaction cost pieces

5) Automating the strategy

6) Deploying the strategy either live or just paper trading

I think the information in the books is wonderful but I think seeing something a bit more concrete and specific would really help out beginners. If anyone is interested in tackling this project, I'm more than willing to help out!
