Beginner help to create PB ratio algorithm

Hi,

I am a beginner trying to programme a few simple algorithms, I was going to code an algorithm that would buy stocks that have a low PB ratio, and sell stocks that have a high PB ratio.

I was thinking of getting the universe here and taking the top and bottom 1% of the stocks, buying the bottom 1% of the PB ratio and selling the top 1% of the PB ratio.

How would I go about coding this into Quantopian?

Any help which I could get on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi Graeme,
You are going to want to use the pipeline to get the PB ratio, rank the universe by that ratio and then select the top and bottom to long and short.

A two factor example, using different factors, can be found here and is a good example to get you started.
