Backtesting Project

Hallo everybody

I am about to start with my Master Thesis in Finance.
The Task is to create a Investment/Tradin Strategy for the Swiss Small and Mid Cap Market.

I am kind of familiar with Matlab but not super pro and excel. So for sure I will need some help and some inputs.
Before i go deeper into details my question is, is this the right place where the community is willing to support me over a longer period of time with my project?

Thank you very much
cheers

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

Quantopian runs entirely on Python. Here, you can backtest, paper trade, and live trade your strategy. Soon you'll be able to visualize and analyze the data in an IPython notebook, using the research platform. If you're language agnostic in your thesis, you're welcome to use Quantopian for your study. We're happy to help along the way :)

Cheers,
Alisa
