Backtesting doesn't work

Anytime I try to run a backtest (tried different algorithms that used to work) I get the following:

Something went wrong. Sorry for the inconvenience. Try using the
built-in debugger to analyze your code. If you would like help, send
us an email.

Anybody else having the same problem?

Yes.

Thanks for pointing this out. We're looking into it.

A fix has been issued - backtests appear to be working now. If you have any further issues, please let us know!

Thank you. I can see it is working now.

Last night's backtesting failures were caused by several unhealthy servers in our backtesting pool whose ill health we failed to detect properly because of a gap in our monitoring.

We fixed the specific problem last night by removing the unhealthy servers from the pool.

This morning, we fixed our monitoring to detect this issue and others like it and notify us about them, so we don't have to rely on our users to let us know when something is wrong. ;-)

Finally, a fix has been implemented for the problem which caused the servers to become unhealthy in the first place, and barring any unexpected complications, it will be deployed in the next few days.
