Backtest does not run over proxy . . !

Is there issue with quantopian not able to run backtest when
client is using proxy server.

To run a backtest, you'll need websockets enabled. If they're disabled (on purpose or because of a firewall), your backtest won't be able to start. You can check your settings here: http://websocketstest.com/

@Idriss, the underlying issue is our data needs to flow to your browser. This is accomplished through websockets. If they are disabled, then you won't see backtests running in the IDE. The best way to check your settings is here and to relax any pop-up blockers/filters you have enabled. Then the data will stream to your machine.
