Backtest caused ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Hi,

I have been running quite a few backtests. I am running 4 backtests at the same time and the are quite memory intensive because it uses quadratic calculations. Initially the backtest run fine, but after I check it after a few hours or so, the screen results doesn't show. I opened the console window and it seems like the server is not responding:

quanto_socket.js:56 WebSocket connection to 'wss://qexecbacktest-i-0739c4c1ef0ba3045.dynoquant.com/backtests/5d0dd5ad7f6fe761b71ae93c' failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Could anyone let me know why?
Thank you.
Ted.

Hi Ted,

Are you able to see whether or not the backtest is completed by looking at the list of backtests for your algorithm? Also, would you be willing to share the backtest ID of one of your backtests that's running into the issue? The backtest ID can be found in the URL of a backtest. The format is www.quantopian.com/algorithms/<algorithm_id>/<backtest_id>. With a backtest ID, I can take a look at some of our internal logging to see if we can figure out what happened.
