I feel a bit stupid, as I daily look at new papers in astro-ph, and that physics is on the top of the main page (so I never scrolled down...)
But indeed axriv have a section q-fin: quantitative finance....

Might be something that everyone here knows.... but as I didnt... maybe they are some ignorant like me...

What is arxiv:
arxiv is a database of preprint (it mean that you post your article in arxiv just before submitting it to a peer reviewed journal, it help to not be scooped when review take months/year!)

Usually people (I have no clue how it is on q-fin) will update their article after the review process. (so when there is only 1 version, review is not finished, and the paper might be complete crap!)

There is no review on arxiv, so there is for sure some papers which are totaly wrong, but usually the community will point them to the editor desk and they will be removed.
