Are there any open resources for learning algo trading?

Hello,

I was curious as to whether there are any open resources for learning this stuff. This website seems great but it is hard for me to understand the strategies/vocabulary for what is being discussed. I recently came across quantstart.com for learning more about algorithm trading but I am wondering if there is a better resource or collection of resources. I'm a computer science and computer engineering major in college and I would really like a shot at experimenting more with this kind of coding and development.
