2 questions! Why does it it say market closed when market is open? How do I live trade? I connected my broker but the only option is the contest trading?

What mode are you live trading in? There are 2 options:
Quantopian paper trading. This uses 15 minute delayed data and runs from 9:45 - 4:15PM ET. It's free and is the mode that runs all contest algos.
Broker. You can connect your IB real money, IB paper, and Robhinhood real money accounts for trading. These are connected to the brokerage during live market hours, 9:30AM - 4:00PM ET.
To start a live trading algo, run a full backtest in minute mode to simulate the live settings. And then click the "Live Trade Algorithm" button in the top-right corner. Choose your mode (Quantopian or broker) and deploy the strategy.
