I am new on Quantopian. Sorry for my English, I'm French ! :P
I don't understand why the syntax of sid function looks like this : sid(24) For the sid of Apple for example.
In my spirit she must look like this : sid("Apple") and eventually return 24
Why isn't the case please ?

Il faut passer une "ticker symbol" ('AAPL', par example) ou un identifiant numerique (24 pour AAPL). Le resultat va etre un object Equity dans les deux cas. Generalement, passer une identifier numerique est prefere parce'que les ticker symbols pouvaient changer, mais les identifiers reste constante.
Désolé si ce n'est pas clair, c'as fais longtemps que je parle francais :)
