Lewis does write very entertaining books especially "Liar's Poker".
'60 Minutes' - and to some extent Lewis - are essentially rehashing 'The Wall Street Code' documentary from last year (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEAGdwHXfLQ) with Brad Katsuyama in the role of Haim Bodek. I'm convinced the 'concert ticket' analogy is used in the earlier film.
Of possible interest to Quantopian users is that Thomas Peterffy (founder of IB) and Eric Hunsader (founder of Nanex) both appear in 'The Wall Street Code'.
